This is intermediate medical-surgical nursing. During this rotation your nursing skills will improve dramatically. Goals for this rotation are to tranistion students into the role of the RN and time management. Students will begin to manage and assume responsibility for 75% of the RN load. New skills this semester central line management and access.

In this course students will learn to analyze blood gases, help patients cope with cancer, HIV, pancreatic and liver failure. This course moves fast so keep up on your reading and do not hesitate to contact your clinical instructor and work with the mentor.
