Welcome to my home page. I am the Director of the Dental Assisting Program and have been at Cypress College since 1981. I have seen many changes in the Dental Assisting profession.

Are you interested in becoming a Registered Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist, Dental Lab Technician or possibly a Dentist? This is the place to find out if this profession is for you. Two semesters and you are done.

I am as excited about this profession as I was when I first started. There are major changes occurring in our profession and Cypress College is ready to initiate these changes when they become law in January 2008. We have a state of the art clinic for on hands practice, and instructors who are current with the new technology.

It is an exciting time for our profession, so jump on the bandwagon, *apply and register*. You will be a Certified Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Assistant.
