Application Procedure

1. In addition to the Cypress College application form, a separate application is required for admission into the Mortuary Science Program. These applications may be obtained from the Health Science Counseling Office, downloaded from the internet, or by sending a self addressed stamped envelop to:

2. A total of 30 new students are selected each spring and fall semester.    Selection of students for acceptance is based on the date of completed application, which includes submission of all transcripts and required documents. Applicants may exceed the available seat space.

3. Applicants are responsible for submitting all documents (records, forms and transcripts) to the Health Science Counseling Office indicating minimum standards and prerequisites have been met.

4. Official transcripts are required.

Application Deadlines

Spring Enrollment

Applicants and supporting documentation must be received between September 1 and October 31.  The application deadline may be extended depending on space availability.  Call the Health Science Counseling Office at 714-484-7270 for an update on application extension.

Fall Enrollment

Applicants and supporting documentation must be received between February 1 and March 31.  The application deadline may be extended depending on space availability.  Call the Health Science Counseling Office at 714-484-7270 for an update on application extension.
